Event Description:

No stranger to Chicago’s Green Mill and the Chicago Jazz Festival, saxophonist, Pat Mallinger returns to Emmanuel along with Dan Trudell (piano), Nick Mazzarella (sax), Xavier Breaker (drums), and Jeremiah Hunt (bass) for an evening of Jazz in the Sanctuary.    This concert is part of the 2019/2020 Sounds in the Sanctuary concert series sponsored by Emmanuel Episcopal Church and Friends Of Casavant 3062. 

Featured guests will include the Lyons Township High School Big Band, led by Mark Dahl, who will open the show with a brief set. 

The musicians will perform on Thursday, January 23 @ 7:30 PM at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 203 S Kensington in West Suburban La Grange.  Tickets to this concert are $20.00 and may be purchased in advance through the parish website's "Sounds in the Sanctuary" page: http://www.emmanuel-lagrange.org or by contacting the church at 708.352.1275.  Students 18 and under will be admitted free of charge.  The building is handicapped accessible and located two blocks from the La Grange Metra stop.
