Here's an event that happens once in a blue moon. Join in the fun as we celebrate the first total solar eclipse in Chicago in almost 30 years. We're inviting sun-lovers to celebrate with us near Village Hall with live music around the piano, kids crafts hosted by the Greater La Grange YMCA, and restaurant & retail tie ins. Pick up a free pair of NASA-approved solar eyeglasses in front of Village Hall while supplies last! At the La Grange Public Library, you can watch a live stream of the solar eclipse being broadcast from southern Illinois, one of the best places to view this event, enjoy snacks and make a craft. Also, have your photo taken with the eclipse on our green screen from 12:00-1:00pm in Studio 10 West.
