Join us on Zoom as we connect with other LGBA members for an hour of online kicks. This year, we're giving you the gift of laughter with a special comedy show featuring headliner Jeanie Doogan plus Jim Flannigan ... and other special surprises! While we won't be picking up your bar tab this year, we do encourage you to order from your favorite local restaurant, as your gift to them.

Barrel House Social is organizing a dinner fundraiser to help support the LGBA! When you order on December 9 from 4-8pm, Barrel House Social will donate 10% of your total food and beverage purchase directly to the LGBA. You'll also receive

Headliner Jeanie Doogan started her career at the tender age of five when she quickly learned that, as the youngest of eight children, she needed a hook if she ever wanted to be fed, bathed, or have her existence acknowledged in any way. She carved out her comedy niche with kick-ass knock-knock jokes and soon rose to fame at the family dinner table. Since then, Jeanie has entertained audiences at colleges, casinos, and corporate events and is a regular at venues such as Zanies Comedy Clubs, The Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Bar. She was highlighted in Chicago Parents’ Magazine’s Four of Chicago’s Funniest: Stand Up Parents, and was featured on Nick Jr.’s Moms’ Night Out debut stand up special. Jeanie has set herself apart with her quick observations and no-apology take on teaching, parenthood, and American culture. Her sharp wit draws on her experiences growing up on the South side of Chicago and 20 years as a public school teacher to deliver comedy that reaches audiences from all walks of life.
Jim Flannigan is a Chicago native and a favorite at comedy clubs across the country. Flannigan has made a name for himself headlining clubs and corporate events across the country, while also opening for some of the biggest names in comedy. His debut album, About Time, was recently recorded at the legendary Zanies in Rosemont, IL and is due out Winter 2020. Jim has performed at some of the top comedy festivals in the country, including the Boston Comedy Festival, Gilda's LaughFest and The Great American Comedy Festival. Flannigan is also one of the hosts of the hilarious and informative podcast What Do We Know? w/Hari & Jim, available everywhere, as well as being the cohost of All Over The Place with Pat McGann.
