Cossitt SPRING Consignment Sale
The Cossitt Clothing Sale is a children’s clothing consignment sale that has taken place for nearly five decades with hundreds of families in the community coming together to shop, sell and volunteer. The bi-annual sale, which is held in both fall and spring, is scheduled for Saturday, March 11th at Cossitt School from 9:30am to 1pm.
The Cossitt School Parent Teacher Council (PTC) is hopeful that a commitment to donate ALL unsold items to various non-profit organizations across Chicagoland will draw even more shoppers this fall. Parents often find complete seasonal wardrobes for their kids for a tiny fraction of the retail price. There’s a huge selection (15,000+ items!) of gently-used, high-end clothing from infant to size 16, including many top brands.
Any parent is encouraged to sell their own kids’ gently-used clothing and gear, keeping 60% of proceeds. The remaining amount goes to the PTC to support teachers and provide enrichment for the students throughout the year.
For those who don’t want to consign but need to clear out their closets, they can donate their items to the school, and anything not sold goes directly to various charitable partners such as Westchester Food Pantry, St. Cletus Food Pantry, St. Francis Xavier Food Pantry, Children’s Community Closet of La Grange Park, BEDS, LADSE, and Buddy's Place.
Save the date and consider volunteering for this one-of-a-kind event!
