La Grange eateries showcase their culinary diversity during La Grange Restaurant Week, Feb. 24- March 5
For 10 days, the independently owned restaurants of La Grange come together to dish up their signature menus at value pricing from February 24-March 5, 2023. It?s the perfect time for foodies to explore someplace new.
Organized by the La Grange Business Association for the past 12 years, the food festival features La Grange's bold and authentic culinary lineup including classic and modern Italian, Indian, Japanese, farm-to-table, contemporary American or casual fare.
Multi-course meals or special offerings at participating restaurants are $20, $35 or $50 at lunch, brunch and/or dinner.
In addition, talented mixologists in La Grange are creating delicious signature cocktails for a promotion called Sip & Support where proceeds from each specialty cocktail will benefit local nonprofits in the community.
As a finishing touch, participating Specialty Stores will provide a special discounted offer to customers who present a receipt from a participating restaurant during the promotion.
La Grange Restaurant Week is held with the support of the Village of La Grange. Updated information can be found at www.lagrangeevents.com. Diners should contact participating restaurants for reservations and details.
PARTICIPATING RESTAURANTS
Restaurants are unable to honor other coupons or offers in conjunction with Restaurant Week menu pricing. Prices exclude beverages, tax, gratuity and delivery fees unless noted.
PALMER PLACE: Select from our award-winning Benchmark Burger served on a toasted onion bun with your choice of side, or our Ultimate Gourmet Burger served on a toasted brioche bun with your choice of side. And choose a delectable dessert: Flourless Chocolate Cake, or Carrot Cake,or Chocolate Fudge Cake, or Cheesecake. $20 per person. Bring a companion and enjoy Dinner for Two: choose two Starters - the Palmer Salad or Soup of the Day; choose two Pastas - Lemon Chicken or Chicken Fettucini Alfredo or Silo Mac & Cheese; and choose two Desserts - Death by Chocolate, or Chocolate Fudge Cake, or Carrot Cake, or Cheesecake. Dinner for Two $50.
KAMA BISTRO: Delicious four course meal during restaurant week for $50. Starters Chips and Chutney and Ginger Mint Ice Tea or Chai. Appetizers (pick 1) Brussel Sprouts, Goan Mussels, Chefs Choice Pakora, Aloo Tikki Chaat or Chicken Tikka Harissa. Entree (pick 1) Ravioli Alla Makhani Vodka Sauce, Cornish Butter Masala, Goan Fish Curry and Mixed Chicken Grill. Butter/Garlic Naan. Dessert (pick 1) Sticky Toffee Date Pudding or Kulfi. Drink Specials during restaurant week include wine flight of three wines Sunday and Wednesday and Cocktail Flight Trio on Tuesday and Thursday.
BLACKBERRY MARKET: Lunch for two at Blackberry Market! Each guest receives a Half Sandwich/Salad a bowl of soup and a cookie for each person for $20.
MILK MONEY BREWING: Try any of our delicious burgers or sandwiches plus a beer for $20. When you show us a receipt from Olivaceto (the artisan olive oil and vinegar tasting bar down the street), we'll give you 15% off your order, too!
MILK STOP CAFE: Experience our menu in all its glory during La Grange Restaurant Week by selecting a three-course meal of anything on our menu. Browse our offerings and pick one Small Plate or Salad, one Main Dish plus one Dessert, all for just $50 per person. (Split charges will be added.)
PRASINO: $35 Prix-Fixe Menu - select from our Soup of the Day or Mini Greens; plus your choice of Thai Yellow Curry (vegetable fried rice, cilantro, lime and add tofu or chicken); or Grilled Salmon (squash and zucchini noodles, tomato, olive, spinach roasted red pepper and chipotle sauce); or Braised Short Ribs (cauliflower gratin, swiss chard, truffle mushroom cabernet sauce); plus Chef's whim dessert. $50 Prix-Fixe Menu - add starter course to Prix-Fixe menu above featuring our signature lobster avocado, mango salsa and chili beurre blanc.
MONK'S BURGERS & MORE: Choose from any of our gourmet burgers, any appetizer or house salad plus one spectacular shake (chocolate, vanilla or strawberry). Burgers come with your tasty choice of hand-cut fries or plantain chips: $35. Or try our Monk's Two-Fer: bring a friend and get two of our gourmet burgers, any appetizer or house salad and two shakes (select from Chocolate, Vanilla or Strawberry). Burgers come with house-cut fries or plantain chips. (Boozy shakes not included, sorry!) $50.
Q BBQ: Our meats are cooked low and slow for up to 16 hour. Savor our Papa Q Platter which includes a portion of all of our smoked meats, plus award-winning Memphis Ribs and All Premium Brisket. Served with four from-scratch classic sides plus our famous hush puppies. Specially-priced at $35 per person.
SUSHI UKAI: Taste the excitement with two options. Option A includes Spicy Garlic Edamame appetizer; Ika Sansai Salad; eight pieces of Chef's Selection Sushi; Angry Crab Roll plus Red Bean Ice Cream. $50 per person. Option B includes Crab Rangoon appetizer, House Salad, Miso Soup, Steak Vegetable Udon Stir Fry plus Red Bean Ice Cream. $35 per person.
FOURTEENSIXTEEN: Savor a four-course meal for Restaurant Week priced at $50. Course 1 - Bone Marrow with Blood Orange, Pork Belly and Brioche. Course 2 - Yellowfin Tuna with Earl Grey, Ginger, Nectarine and Shiso. Course 3 - Rohan Duck Breast with Black Garlic, Cellery Root, Butterball Potato and Chestnut. Course 4 - Peanut Butter Truffle and Yuzu Jellie. Plus, take advantage of Sip & Support - when you order their signature cocktail, the Vieux La Grange, a blend of bourbon, brandy, rosehip liquere, benedictine and bitters, a portion of the proceeds from the sale will benefit the La Grange Area Historical Society.
STEAK + VINE: Delight in the flavors of our three-course menu. Course 1 - Baked French Onion Soup or Wedge Salad with tomato, bacon, blue cheese, red onion and crumbled egg. Course 2 - select from Wagyu Meatloaf with crispy fried onion, zesty ketchup and house mashed potatoes; or Parmesan-Crusted Mahi Mahi with sauteed spinach, cherry tomatoes, asparagus and lemon butter sauce; or Linguini with Lemon White Wine Sauce and heirloom cherry tomatoes, mushrooms, spinach and fresh oregano. Course 3 - Key Lime Pie or Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie or TATE'S Ice Cream. $35 per person.
BARREL HOUSE SOCIAL: Select from our delectable three-course menu. Course 1: Shishito Peppers with smoked paprika aioli and citrus zest; or Spanish Shrimp with roasted poblano peppers, goat cheese, white bean puree and smoked jalapeno chimi; or Bourbon Smoked Brisket with cornbread. Course 2: Braised Short Rib with red wine sauce, mirepoix, pickled carrots with smoked cream cheese polenta; or Smoked Chicken with crispy potatoes and heirloom carrots, garlic and thyme sauce; or Meatloaf with whipped potatoes, roasted peas and carrots and an onion ring. Course 3: Bourbon Cake with brown butter ganache; or Bread Pudding with old-fashioned glaze, candied orange peel and roasted pistachios. $50 per person. Not available for to go orders.
ANTONINO'S RISTORANTE: Buona Mangiata! Three- course menu plus a glass of wine, choice of one. Vino - select from chardonnay or cabernet. Primo - select a soup or a salad. Secondo - Choose from Pasta Puttanesca, Chicken Lemone or Chicken Marsala. Terzo - select a Tiramisu or a Cannoli. $35 per person.
GP ITALIANO: Make your selections from our delectable three-course menu. Choose from Course 1: Crab Cakes or Burrato Toast. Course 2: Pancetta Tortellini with Wild Boar Ragu, or Shrimp Diavolo with Squid in Bucatini, or Carbonara; Course 3: Vanilla Bean Cheesecake or Triple Chocolate Cake. $50 per person.
BILLY BRICK'S PIZZA - choose any two of our specialty pizzas for only $22! Served in a premiere casual atmosphere - we've specialized the craft of thin-crust, Neapolitan & New Haven-inspired pizza baked in an authentic wood-fired brick oven since 2005.
THE ELM - Lunch 2 courses $20. First course Chicken and Rice Soup or Mixed Greens Salad. Second course Shrimp Po'boy or Grilled Chicken Salad. Dinner 3 courses $50.
